It’s been nearly a year since my last blog post so it’s time to come back in style. The 2021-2022 season merged into one extended year of 75 back-to-back weddings. I’d usually only cover 30 weddings a year, however with so many postponements from 2020 to accommodate, and the 2021 season not being able to start until August, it became quite an intense 14-month period.
I’m really looking forward to finally sharing some of the best weddings I had the privilege of documenting over the last 2 years. First up I’m heading back to August 2021, with Charlotte & Matthew at the stunning Middleton Lodge Estate in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
I’ve been really keen to shoot a wedding at Middleton Lodge for quite some time, though every time I had an enquiry I’ve never been available. It really is one of the best wedding venues around. The day didn’t disappoint, and I’ve been lucky enough to return again last year.
Charlotte looked stunning in an Alexandra Grecco gown, flowers by Hearts & Flowers in Scarborough, and Steve Madden shoes. Matthew and the groomsman all had matching suits by House of Cavani. It was great to work with MUA Amy George & Hair Stylist Emily Hawkes again.
