A Lapland Wedding In Finland

This time last year I attended easily the most challenging and magical wedding I’ve ever been to. Being in Lapland 2 weeks before Christmas doesn’t get much better does it? Battling -10 conditions, blizzards and only 2 hours of daylight a day certainly pushes your photography skills to the max. It is a truly stunning location to visit though and I will certainly be returning with the family some day.
Katie & Chris live quite local to me but planned a very intimate day, with just their closest family and friends, at the Northern Lights Hotel in Lapland, which at this time of year is basically in complete darkness on a wedding day. It was so amazing to be part of their day and witness this quite unique location for a wedding. Here’s just a few highlights from my few days in Finland, the only thing missing being the Northern Lights didn’t come out to play my entire visit, I’ll get them next time!! Happy Anniversary guys!
